Stewardship of health

Stewardship

Health

Health is one area of Christian Stewardship. Not just personal health, either. It includes the health of people in a foreign nation. What would Jesus do?

"Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?"— 1st Corinthians 3:16 [NIV]

Is your temple a glorious wonder or a wonder it's still standing? What will you do to clean up the temple?

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship."— Romans 12:1  [NIV]

We should all be concerned about the health status of others -- of children, migrant workers, the homeless, the mentally ill. We should care about the availability of health care for others.

What would Jesus do?
