How to Join
Each week during the last hymn "the doors of the church" are open.
If you want to join the friendly, loving Christians of Avondale Pattillo UMC, complete the form in the pew and join the pastor at the front of the sanctuary at the end of a worship service.
You may join APUMC in one of three ways:
- Profession of Faith – if you have never publicly professed faith in Christ or joined a church before.
- Transfer of Membership – APUMC recognizes “one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism”. The church recognizes your baptism and accepts your transfer of membership from another United Methodist Church or another Christian denomination or tradition.
- Reaffirmation of Faith – if you have been away from church for a while, either this congregation or another.
